Shipping, Delivery & Installation Policy
At Swing Sheds, we aim to make your delivery and installation process as seamless as possible. Please review the following policy to understand what is included, what you are responsible for, and how to prepare your site.
Delivery

Service Area: Swing Sheds delivers free within 150 miles of 42141 and can arrange nationwide delivery upon request. Additional delivery fees may apply based on distance and accessibility.

Scheduling: Once your order is complete, a delivery date will be scheduled. Customers will be notified in advance. Timelines may vary depending on production and site readiness.

Access: Customers must ensure clear, safe access for delivery trucks and equipment. If access is obstructed, additional charges or rescheduling fees may apply.

Delivery Fees: Standard delivery is included within 150 miles. Beyond this range, mileage charges or third-party freight may be used at the customer’s expense.

Zone 1: Local/Regional (0-150 miles from Glasgow, KY)
Shipping Cost: $0
Target Markets: Kentucky, Tennessee, southern Indiana
Zone 2: Extended Regional (150-400 miles)
Shipping Cost: $1,500 - $3,200 (mileage-based per NuWay)
Retail Adjustment: Add $2,500 to base price
Target Markets: Ohio, Illinois, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia
Zone 3: National (400-1,000 miles)
Shipping Cost: $3,000 - $8,000 (mileage-based per NuWay)
Retail Adjustment: Add $6,000 to base price
Target Markets: Northeast, Texas, Florida, Midwest
Zone 4: Premium National (1,000+ miles)
Shipping Cost: $9,000 - $12,000 (mileage-based per NuWay)
Retail Adjustment: Add $10,000+ to base price
Target Markets: West Coast, Mountain West (minimum $100k projects)
Installation

Included Services: Professional placement and basic installation are included unless otherwise noted in your order.

Site Preparation: Customers are responsible for ensuring the site is level, stable, and free of debris before installation.

Permits & Compliance: Customers are responsible for securing all permits, zoning approvals, or HOA permissions required for installation. Swing Sheds is not responsible for delays, penalties, or fines related to non-compliance.

Utilities: If electrical, HVAC, or internet connections are required, customers must arrange licensed professionals for setup unless explicitly included in the contract.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth delivery and installation, customers must:

Confirm site readiness before scheduled delivery.

Provide access for delivery vehicles and installation crews.

Verify that the structure meets local building codes and regulations.

Be present during delivery and installation, or appoint a representative.
Rescheduling & Delays

Customer-Requested Rescheduling: Must be made at least 15 days before delivery. Additional fees may apply for late changes.

Weather Delays: Installation may be postponed due to unsafe weather conditions. Swing Sheds will coordinate a new delivery date at no additional charge.

Site Not Ready: If the site is not prepared, delivery may be rescheduled, and additional charges may apply.
Damage During Delivery

Swing Sheds takes every precaution to protect your property during delivery and installation. However, Swing Sheds is not responsible for pre-existing site conditions, landscaping, or underground utilities.

Any damage caused directly by our delivery crew will be addressed promptly at Swing Sheds’ discretion.
Final Walkthrough
After installation, a walkthrough will be conducted with the customer (or representative) to ensure satisfaction and confirm that the structure is placed correctly.
